PDP (Product Page Assistant)

Best practices for configuring your Dialog product page assistant (PDP), industry by industry.

Each page gives you ready-to-use templates for the three fields of the PDP configuration: Business context (who you are), Expertise areas (what it knows), and Guidelines & Prompt (how it talks and behaves).

Guidelines control tone and behavior: not what the assistant knows, and not how well it answers a specific product question. If an answer is wrong because of missing or incorrect product data, fix the data (or the dialog-data metafield) instead of adding another guideline.

How to use these pages

1. Find your industry below and open the page.
2. Copy the templates and replace the //PLACEHOLDERS// with your own information.

Scope

These pages cover the three text fields of the PDP configuration. The other settings (assistant name, logo, colors, cart icon…) are configured directly in your Dialog dashboard.
